SALZBURG 〓 Salzburg Mozart Week announces cancellation for the second consecutive year

The International Mozart Foundation has announced the cancellation of “Mozart Week”. Because the infection of the new coronavirus continues to spread in Austria. The cancellation will be for the second consecutive year.

The music festival is held every year around January 27, the birthday of composer Mozart, and 2022 was scheduled to be held from January 27 to February 6.

According to the Austrian government, the number of newly infected people exceeds 10,000 a day, and the number has started to increase again from the beginning of the year.
