Grafenegg Festival 〓 Overview of 2019 announced

The Austrian Grafenegg Festival announced the outline of 2019. According to it, 2019 will be held from August 16th to September 8th. The host festival host orchestra is Tonkünstler Orchester, which is held in St. Pölten, a suburb of Vienna with Orchestra secretariat. The venue is an outdoor concert hall with modern design. While being a relatively new music festival in 2007, there are also local favorites and appearances of prominent orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and soloists. Composer in residence in 2019 is Peter Ruzicka, and two new works are displayed at the music festival. Conductor’s new face is Mirga Gražinytė – Tyla, Lahav Shani etc. Singer’s new face is Camilla Nylund, Sonya Yoncheva, Ludovic Tezier, Rolando Villazón.
