Teatro San Carlo of Naples announced the lineup of the 2018/2019 season. Juraj Valcuha, music director since the 2016/2017 season, was born in 1976 in Bratislava, Slovakia. From 2009 to 2016 he was the principal conductor of RAI National Symphony Orchestra. The opening performance is Mozart “Così fan tutte” Conducted by Riccardo Muti. Directed by his daughter, Chiara Muti. Outside of the opera performances, Valcuha conducting Verdi’s Requiem (Eleonora Buratto, Veronica Simeoni, Antonio Poli, Riccardo Zanelatto appearances), Mariella Devia’s Aria Concert, Yutaka Sado conducting Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 “Romantic” It is scheduled to be held.
