NEW YORK 〓 Metropolitan Opera nnounced the 2018/19 season lineup

New York’s Metropolitan Opera House announced the 2018/19 season lineup on 15th. The biggest topic is that Yannick Nézet-Séguin will be appointed music director from 2020/21 season two years ahead of schedule. The new performance is also discussed topics such as “Samson et Dalila”, “Mahnny”, “La Traviata”, and “Adriana Lecouvreur” and the revival of “Der Ring des Nibelungen” which Robert Lepage directed. Nézet-Séguin conducts are “La Traviata” which Michael Mayer is handling a new production, “Pelléas et Mélisande”, “Dialogues des Carmélites”. He also directs two concerts at Carnegie Hall. “Marnie” is a new opera by American young composer Nico Muhly, a work inspired by a novel by English writer Winston Graham.
