MUNICH 〓 Bavarian State Opera has announced 2021/2022 season performance lineup

Bavarian State Opera has announced a new season, 2021/2022 season performance lineup.

The state opera will be replaced by general director and music director from the new season. Belgian Serge Dorny, who was the general director of Lyon Opera, will be the general director, and Vladimir Jurowsky will be the new music director.

The following eight new opera works. In addition to this, Georg Haas’s “Bluthaus”, “Thomas”, and “Koma” will be combined with Monteverdi’s work.

“Bluthaus” is conducted by Titus Engel and directed by Claus Guth. “Thomas” is directed by Alexandre Bloch and directed by Anna-Sophie Mahler. In addition, “Koma” is conducted by Teodor Currentzis and directed by Romeo Castellucci.
