KRAKOW 〓 Jordi Savall and his party infected with new coronavirus in Poland

The ensemble “Le Concert Des Nations”, led by Jordi Savall of Spain, has announced a new coronavirus infection among members of the ensemble and Savall.

According to the announcement, it was infected in the visited Poland. Seven people were infected, including Savall. The group canceled subsequent concerts in Paris, Hamburg, Linz, Barcelona and Innsbruck.

The group producing the complete Beethoven symphonies visited Kraków for recording and concerts. They entered Krakow on the 10th and started recording on the 11th with the 8th symphony.

However, it was discovered that a member of the National Music Forum (NFM) Choir and one of the soloists who co-starred tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Therefore, they canceled the performance on the 11th and 12th. Subsequent PCR tests confirmed the positive reaction of Savall and others.

In Poland, the number of newly infected people has increased sharply in October, and as of the 15th, the number of newly infected people per day is over 8,000.
