“BBC Proms” in Japan will be held in fall of 2019. “BBC Proms” is the summer music festival in London, the first time to be held in Japan. It will be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall (Tokyo) and The Symphony Hall (Osaka) for 6 days from October 30 to November 4. Overseas performances of “BBC Proms” are held in Australia in 2016 and in Dubai in 2017.

It is the choir with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra to perform in Japan. They will visit Japan for the first time on this tour. Conducted by their chief conductor Thomas Dausgaard. At the final concert of the music festival “Last Night”, Union Jack is shaken and the venue is united. They say that they want to reproduce the atmosphere in Japan. BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is one of orchestras under the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), founded in 1935. They are based in Scotland’s largest city Glasgow.
