BERLIN 〓 Berlin State Opera livestreams new “Jenůfa” conducted by Rattle

The Berlin State Opera (Staatsoper unter der Linden) has announced that it will live stream Janacek’s “Jenůfa”. Delivery will begin at 8:15 pm on the 13th, ECT. What will be delivered is a new production by Damiano Michelet, which will be performed without an audience.

The performance will be conducted by Simon Rattle. The singers are Camilla Nylund for Jenůfa, Hanna Schwarz for the Grandmother Buryjovka, Stuart Skelton for Laca Klemeň, and Evelyn Herlitzius for Kostelnička Buryjovka.
