BRUSSELS 〓 Queen Elisabeth Competition has postponed

The Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium has announced that this year’s piano division postponed to May 2021.

According to the announcement, the cello division scheduled for 2021 will be held in 2022, the 2022 singing division will take place in 2023 and the 2023 violin division will be organized in 2024.

The Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition was founded in 1937, is held in Brussels. Since 2014, there have been four divisions, violin, piano, singing, and cello, and each division is held in turn.

It is one of the three major competitions in the world, along with the International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Chopin International Piano Competition.
