BAYREUTH 〓 Festival’s “Lohengrin” will be delivered by live streaming

“Lohengrin” of Bayreuth festival will be delivered by live streaming. It is “BR-KLASSIK” to stream, scheduled for 16: 00-23: 00 on the first day of the performance on July 25.

“Lohengrin” is the only new production at this year’s music festival, Roberto Alagna attracted a topic by debuting at the festival for the first time by singing the leading role of Wagner.

There was also rumor that Anna Netrebko debuted at the festival and the two will co-star. In the end, however, Alagna canceled the starring just before, Piotr Beczala was a substitute, and Netrebko’s appearance ended in rumors.

It is Yuval Sharon who deals the new production. What has been performed at the festival until now is a production premiered in 2011. Directed by Hans Neuenfels, a lot of performers in the form of rats appeared and is known as “rat production”.

The conductor is Christian Thielemann. Singers such as Anja Harteros for Elsa and Waltraud Meier for Ortrout appear.
