SAN FRANCISCO 〓 San Francisco Opera will sells opera costumes online

The San Francisco Opera has announced that it will sell costumes used in past performances online. It will start on November 13th and will be held for the entire 15th. The proceeds will be used for operating the opera house, such as supporting artists and training programs for young artists.

Over 500 costumes used in past works will be on sale. It is said that the costumes of Johann Strauss II “Die Fledermaus” performed in 1990, 1996 and 2006, Lehar “Merry Widow” in 2001, and Wagner “Tannhäuser” in 2007 are the main costumes. Both will sell for $ 75 to $ 1,000.
