MUNICH 〓 Bavarian State Opera has announced a lineup for the 2019/2020 season

The Bavarian State Opera (Bayerische Staatsoper) has announced a lineup of performances for the 2019/2020 season. That season is the last season of the general director Nikolaus Bachler and the music director Kirill Petrenko. The opening will be in Korngold《The dead city》, with Jonas Kaufmann and others appearing. There a world premiere of “7 DEATHS OF MARIA CALLAS” directed by Marina Marina Abramović. Music is Marko Nikodijević. Mrs Kaufmann Christiane Lutz is also working on directing Tomma’s “Mignon” in a performance by singers from the opera studio. The new production is as follows.
