VIENNA 〓 Austria theaters shut until 3 April

On 10 March, the Austrian federal government announced that indoor events for more than 100 people may not take place until and including 3 April.

Because of the new coronavirus epidemic(COVID-19)

In response, the Vienna State Opera was announced to be closed for the whole of March.

It is not yet clear what impact this will have on the Salzburg Easter Festival, which is due to take place from 4 April.
