Hong Kong Art Festival announced that it will stop performing after the spread of the new coronavirus. The festival is Hong Kong’s largest performing arts event with over 100 performances, from opera, music, theater and concerts. This year marks the 48th time. There are many guest performances from abroad, and more than 100,000 people gather every year.

This year, the festival started on February 13 and was scheduled to take place on March 14. There are performances in this year, opera “Ariadne auf Naxos” by the Bavarian State Opera, concerts by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Basel, Midori Goto and Christian Gerhachel was scheduled.
