Impact work. The first act appeared in costumes all in Rococo style, the story develops in a fantastic white space. However, Second act changed to a different situation, all of them wearing work clothes. The story goes like a correctional facility in a prison. The original lines are boldly cut, and the director’s “key sentence” is fitted there. Second act is intense from the start, milking scene. The keyword “milk” continues to come out and the Queen of the Night sings the famous Aria while shaking the pack of milk. In Second act, ordinary people will appear. Five blind women, five men who have experiences burned in the accident. And they tell their experience. Light, darkness, flame …. In that way Castellucci brings up the key words hidden in the work and invites the viewer to the labyrinth of thinking. Following Richard Strauss “Salome” at The Salzburg Festivalin in this summer , Castellucci’s punch rocks the theater.
