It is a general art festival that began in 1998. High quality programs such as opera, concert, play and art are arranged during the period. Participating organizations are wide ranging from Opera Zurich, Tonhalle Orchestra, Zurich Theater, Zurich museum. At the center is the Opera Zurich.

The Opera Zurich is a small opera house with about 1100 seats. Therefore, it is said to be a theater where you can fully enjoy pianissimo. It also helps geography that is close to Germany, France, Italy, and is well-balanced programming of German opera, Italian opera, French opera. Moreover, there are many performances by big name Artist. Hence the evaluation from the regulars is extremely high.

Also, as part of the Arts Festival, the annual “Summer Night Ball” that anyone can join on June 19th will be held. It will be make special stage in the center of the wide concourse of Zurich Main Station, the opening of the ball is at 8 PM. It is good to get drunk by professional vivid steps and dance on live performances of the orchestra.
